Bloody Yuki has been released.

She also killed the Inspector who was investigating her, but the Police failed to prove his guilt and the case has been closed. After all those horrible murders... Is this how it ends ?

Inspector Yamada refuses to accept that result and the dishonorable death of his friend, which is why he takes over the investigation.

He is determined to find any clue that will allow him to reopen the case, but without the confidential data that his partner had and without the support of the Police Institution, Yamada is unprotected against Bloody Yuki and the dangerous mystery that surrounds her.

As if that weren't enough, he is assigned the ridiculous task of verifying the veracity of a robbery note... Which turns out to be true. Zero, The Twilight Thief, enters the scene executing his plans just as he announced. Why does he only steal once a month and why does he notify the police ?

Despite all his efforts, Yamada finds himself trapped helplessly between two cases he can't solve, fueling with unease the monster called SlayOut.
