Heiji y Nozomi

They were Koichi's parents. A happy, united family striving to make the world a better place.

Heiji, a calm and affable man, raised Koichi so that he would understand how important it was to have certain values and principles in favor of a peaceful society. This included knowing that life can be unfair, difficult and cruel, but therefore they should try to lead it on an increasingly better path. He also explained how necessary laws and judicial processes are, even though they are not perfect, otherwise violence, impunity, and the penance of innocents would reign.

Nozomi, a radiant and generous woman, raised Koichi to take care of her health and his body more than anything in the world, since it is essential. Of course, that began with food, which in her house was abundant and always with quality ingredients. Little by little, he also explained medical concepts so that Koichi would be able to apply, to himself or to others, first aid, cures or simple sutures, and also the classification of the most common medicines, the effects of drugs, types of diseases, and many other things.

Three years ago, on the day Koichi graduated as an Inspector, Heiji and Nozomi were on their way to the ceremony's place in Zone X when they were involved in a traffic accident and died instantly. Koichi visits their grave frequently, and always strives to become someone they could be proud of.
