Decided. He didn't care that his assignment was unpleasant: if he had to do it, he did it.

His parents and his younger sister were very proud of him: he joined the Police when he was very young.

He had been in Minato's group for a couple of years when he was assigned Bloody Yuki's case. Minato was prudent not to share the data with his entire group, but only with those who were with him at the time, and one of them was Kota.

He did not have outstanding qualities, but his willingness to fulfill the tasks assigned to him was exemplary, so Minato agreed with the choice. He also worked on the case with Toru, who has been with Minato much longer.

The three of them got fully involved in investigating Bloody Yuki, but they made little progress and the murders kept happening.

Finally, when Commissioner Corsalino Brocci gave them the opportunity to step back from the case, Kota's family convinced him to do so, just like Toru, leaving Minato alone on the case. However, abandoning the case was not enough to escape unscathed, as Toru and Kota also ended up dying.
